Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

Preparation for Restoration

If necessary, the existing crown, bridge, or denture attached to the implant is carefully removed to access and evaluate the implant structure.

Reparing and Replacing Components

Depending on the diagnosis, the dentist either repairs the existing implant components or replaces them with new ones. This may involve tightening or replacing the abutment or fabricating a new crown, bridge, or denture.

Reattachment of Prosthesis

The repaired or new dental prosthesis (crown, bridge, or denture) is then securely attached to the implant or abutment, ensuring proper fit and bite alignment.

Post-Restoration Care and Instructions

The dentist provides detailed care instructions for the restored implant, including oral hygiene practices and follow-up appointment schedules.

Follow-Up Monitoring

Regular follow-up visits are scheduled to monitor the condition of the implant restoration and to ensure ongoing oral health.
